Scholars Without Borders provided 50 new, weather-resistant tents to displaced families in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis, southern Gaza. The families had been living in the open or in worn plastic tents that no longer kept out rain or cold. The project ran over 7 days in December 2025.
Each tent replaced a shelter that had failed after more than two years of displacement. The distribution targeted families in the camps with no home or with tents too damaged to use. It aimed to protect people from winter rain and cold and to restore a measure of privacy and safety.
This project was made possible by the generosity of our donors.
