Prayer Hall Built for Gaza Workers

April 2026

Scholars Without Borders built a 110 square meter prayer hall, Al-Habib Muhammad, in southern Gaza. The facility serves employees and visitors at the educational city. Total cost was $25,000.

Crews raised a steel profile structure and installed the metal frame for stability. They ran main electrical wiring, covered walls and ceiling with leather panels, and added insulation for weather protection. The floor was fitted with artificial grass, and a main door and ventilation openings were installed for comfort.

The project reached 100 percent completion following technical inspection and acceptance. The hall is now ready for use, made possible by the generosity of our donors.
