Scholars Without Borders built Miftah Field School for the Ministry of Education in Gaza. The school has 11 classroom units and serves 3,000 male and female students a day, from primary level through general secondary education. Total executed works came to approximately $173,000.
A local contractor carried out the construction. Work included classrooms, administrative offices, teachers' rooms, psychological support rooms, and storage rooms, plus mobile sanitation units for students and staff. Crews also installed student desks, whiteboards, administrative furniture, storage cabinets, water tanks, plumbing, drinking fountains, and a 2.5 meter perimeter fence for site security.
The project reached 100% completion according to the final Bill of Quantities. The school is fully ready to receive students.
