2,000 Kilos of Meat for 10,000 in Gaza

December 2025

Scholars Without Borders distributed 2,000 kilos of meat to displaced families in Khan Younis, Gaza. The distribution ran over three days, from December 11 to December 13, 2025. It reached 10,000 people, including displaced families in camps and shelters, orphans and their families, educational staff, and civil defense personnel.

Damaged roads and infrastructure meant teams used equipped transport vehicles and mobile refrigerators to move the meat safely. Solar energy systems kept meat cold where electricity had been cut off, and frozen meat was distributed directly rather than stored long term. Multiple distribution points were set apart with scheduled times, and mobile teams carried meat to families who could not reach a site, including women, children, and the elderly.

This project was made possible by the generosity of our donors.
