Scholars Without Borders distributed 1,000 ready-to-eat meals to displaced and affected families in a displacement center in southern Gaza. The distribution took place over one day. Families targeted included displaced households in shelters, female-headed households, older persons, persons with disabilities, and children in the most vulnerable areas.
Meals were prepared and cooked under health and safety standards before delivery. Field teams coordinated with local partners to make sure the food reached the families who needed it most. The total cost of the project was $17,000, covering meal preparation and logistics.
This work was made possible by the generosity of our donors.
