Scholars Without Borders distributed hot meals of rice and meat to 300 displaced families in Khan Younis, Gaza Strip. The distribution ran over two days, from 12 to 13 December 2025. The project cost 4,000 dollars and targeted families living in displacement camps.
Teams set up multiple, widely spaced distribution points and used mobile teams to reach families in their places of displacement. Separate distribution points were organized for women and vulnerable families, with female staff on hand. Cooking was done in the open air due to a shortage of cooking gas, and meals were prepared and served safely to reduce crowding and disease risk.
