Scholars Without Borders rehabilitated six outpatient clinics at Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, Gaza Strip. The space was partitioned into specialized clinics for cardiology, orthopedics, pediatrics, urology, general surgery and internal medicine. The work took 15 days and serves 1,000 patients per day from all age groups.
The renovation supports a hospital that continues operating under exceptional circumstances in the Middle Governorate of Gaza. Patients of all ages now have access to specialized outpatient care in a properly divided clinical space.
