Scholars Without Borders built a specialized field hospital inside Nasser Medical Complex in southern Gaza. The project took three months to complete. It is equipped to serve 50,000 patients per month, easing pressure on existing health facilities.
Work covered site preparation, construction and finishing, including electrical, plumbing, roofing and aluminum fittings. Operating rooms, restrooms and a pharmacy were fitted out to medical standards. Patient wards were partitioned with high-quality curtains, and the hospital roof was covered with tarpaulin and a protective nylon layer.
This work was made possible by the generosity of our donors.
