Scholars Without Borders supported 800 students from Quran memorization circles in southern Gaza. Each student received a copy of Quran Ajzaa and a pack of biscuits. The circles also received a laptop and a mobile device to aid revision and listening. The project ran over seven days at a cost of $12,000.
Students were identified through updated lists from memorization centers. Circle supervisors carried out the distribution to make sure every student received their materials. The group targeted orphans, children of martyrs and displaced students, among the most vulnerable in Gaza.
This work was made possible by the generosity of our donors.
