Scholars Without Borders built Al-Quds Field School for the Ministry of Education in Gaza. The school has 12 classroom units and can hold 3,300 students a day, from primary level through general secondary. Total executed works came to approximately USD 190,000.
A local contractor carried out the build. Crews installed classrooms, administrative offices, teachers' rooms and psychological support rooms, along with mobile sanitation units for students and staff. Student desks, whiteboards, storage cabinets and school chairs were supplied and fitted throughout. Water tanks, plumbing, drinking fountains and a 2.5-meter perimeter fence were installed to secure the site and serve daily use.
This work was made possible by the generosity of our donors. The project reached 100% completion and the school is ready to receive students.
