We coordinate closely with healthcare providers and medical facilities, ensuring individuals receive essential medical and surgical treatments that may be unavailable locally. Our team manages the comprehensive process, including patient identification, medical record acquisition, safe transportation, sponsorship for patients and their families, and ongoing supervision of medical care.
Development of a 250-Bed Field Hospital
Alhamdulillah, with your continued support and generosity, construction on the 250-bed field hospital right outside of Nasir Medical Complex is progressing steadily. This vital project is being built to provide immediate relief and medical care to those affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Once completed, this fully equipped field hospital will serve as a critical community pillar, offering emergency services and patient care for hundreds of patients who are currently unable to access treatment due to the systematic destruction of hospitals in Gaza.
Our teams on the ground are working tirelessly, overseeing construction, securing essential medical equipment, and coordinating with local and international medical partners to ensure this facility becomes operational as soon as possible. Missions, Hospital Supplies, and Medical Evacuations
Our specialized programs address urgent medical needs arising from war, disasters, and healthcare shortages by organizing medical missions, facilitating medical evacuations for critically injured patients, and supplying essential medical equipment and resources to hospitals in underserved areas. We maintain strong partnerships with hospitals, healthcare providers, and specialized medical teams across the United States and globally, enabling patients around the world to access high-quality care and ensuring hospitals have the necessary supplies for effective patient treatment.
We have made arrangements with the Shriners hospital network, which specializes in treatment of children, to coordinate the treatment of international patients in the US.
We have also made arrangements with the Jordanian Red Crescent to allow evacuation of patients from Gaza to Amman for treatment.
We handle every detail, from planning medical missions, acquiring patient medical histories, and arranging transportation logistics, to sponsoring patients and accompanying family members. Scholars Without Borders closely supervises the entire process—from initial assessment through treatment completion—ensuring comprehensive, compassionate care for patients who lack sufficient medical resources in their local communities.
